Hello,

I just recently switched to adium from using aim and I wanted to know if there is a way to send a photo or picture through the adium message window ( similar to what would happen if you sent a direct instant message on aim)

In other words, I don't want a file to be transfered to someone's desktop. I want the picture to show up in the message box. Is this possible?

Yes, just drop the picture in the message entry field and send it. *However* it doesn't work very well in Adium 0.89, and even in 1.0b14 it's only so-so.

I get slightly better results if they begin the direct connect by sending me something first, once the connection is open I have better luck.
