I don't completely understand the finer points of keychain. Although other programs (such as Mail) that access keychain work ok after I log in, Adium always prompts me for my keychain password. Its really annoying considering there is a good system for avoiding such annoyances. Is there some box to check in Keychain Access? Can anyone more learned give me a hand?

Open up keychain Access in Applications -> utilities. Choose the entry called Adium.*the service you are using*. Then click the "i" button near the bottom. In Access Control i have the following:


Is yours the same?

Its the same for all services. It uses the keychain ok, but it isn't satisfied with the normal 'unlocking mechanism'.. it wants the keychain unlocked for itself.

Weird. Sorry but I don't really know what to do then, maybe someone else has an answer.
