Is it possible to remove Vienna from the dock and be seen ONLY in menubar? Or will it be possible in the future upgrades?

I have macbook 13" and i try to keep the (hidden) dock as clean as possible, but it would be nice to have rss reader running in background as my others dayl apps. This is the reason i downloaded Vienna so I can see it in menubar.

And one more thing: it would be perfect if Vienna would open in double-tap in the menubar icon. Now it a bit slow to press that menubar icon once and then selecet open...

Well, that's the whole point of the dock.. And faster than double clicking.

Ok, maybe my english isn't so good so you could undestrand what I meant.

But if you try Twitterific -app you undertand how to properly integrate app to the menubar. In twitterific you click once in the menubar icon and the program pops out and if you click again it will hide again. And app being in the dock is just useless becouse majority of macbook users like me I think just hide that dock to get more screen space.

Just trying to give hints to make this program little better.

And one more thing: you should put as a default value to open articles as webpage. It makes this app much better.

Personally, I am not a big Dock fan... But I also hate cluttering my menubar with additions.

And I think that, compared to Twitterific, Vienna requires longer attention spans, because articles are longer than tweets. So I have no problem with Vienna behaving like a regular web browser.

When I want to switch to Vienna, I just use the Command-Tab key combo and click on it... Generally, no need to travel a long distance with the mouse.

Yes, your mileage may vary...

Interesting idea. I will give it a try.
