3.0b11 being served through Sparkle?

I just got an Sparkle update request in Vienna 2.6, telling me that 2.6.randomnumber was ready, so I clicked yes. Now I'm running 3.0b11? Was it really on purpose to serve that version through Sparkle?

Also, the version under "About Vienna" is being reported as "Version 3.0.0 Beta 11 :9d8d6f6:" - I assume the last string isn't supposed to be there.

Yes, it was done on purpose, as we spotted some database problems in 2.6.

The second part of the identification string is automatically generated (it refers to commit number), and is useful to distinguish crash logs generated by private builds from others.

Fair enough. :)
