What plans are in the works for syncing Vienna with mobile newsreaders when Google Reader shuts down on July 1?

We will support the Open Reader scheme.
I hope it will be ready by July 1st.
Meanwhile, backup your Google Reader OPML subscription list.

I appreciate the reply. I am unfamiliar with the Open Reader scheme and a Google search didn't provide me with any useful info. What iOS apps sync with the Open Reader scheme?

The Open Reader protocol needs to be implemented by sync servers.
Currently, Bazqux.com and FeedHq.org are probably the most convenient solutions (paid services, after a one month trial period).
If you are eager to host your own server, two open source solutions implement Open Reader :
FeedHQ itself

Reader

As for iOS clients, I know "Mr Reader" and Feedler claim to support Open Reader.
These are not recommendations, just the result of my internet searches.

Currently, I use Feedler Pro on my iPhone, which syncs with Vienna on my Mac via Google Reader. In the upcoming update of Feeddler Pro, it will sync with Basqux. Does that mean Vienna will sync with Feedler Pro via Basqux?
