Open Reader login keychain password issue?

I think I came across an issue with Version 3.0.0 Beta 13 :20d15fc: incorrectly handling the keychain password for Open Reader login.
After Google Reader I went all local with my feeds in Vienna. I had tried TheOldReader but that didnt work. Yesterday I decided to fork over $12 for FeedHQ. Set the credentials in Vienna Sync preference but got the user/password failure message.
I had pasted the feedhq password from my clipboard, exactly as I'd done to log into my feedhq account from a browser.
Eventually - after repeatedly restarting Vienna, removing plist files, cache etc - it occurred to me to have a look at what was in my Keychain Passwords. There were three items that seemed related to Vienna. One was obviously for Google Reader, one seemed to be for TheOldReader, and the most recently modified one seemed to be for FeedHQ (unique user name) but the password was blank (with Show Password selected). So I modified the item, pasting in the password, and Vienna was able to connect.
Not being a developer I have no idea how this is supposed to work but it seems odd. I figured the Vienna dev team would want to know about it
Again, thanks to everyone who works on Vienna. It's easily one of the most solid apps I've ever used.
