I have not gotten any feeds all day. One of my feeds is Gizmodo which doesn't go many minutes without something new....

PowerBook Pro Retina Display running Mavericks.

Any ideas of what might have happened?

Hi john,

Do you see little yellow triangles appearing to the right hand side of each of your feeds?

Alternatively, right click on a feed and go to "Get Info", then click the "Validate" button and see if you end up at a page on feedvalidator.org, with the text "This is a valid RSS feed." or "This is a valid Atom feed."
