Beta 19 breaks feeds outside my corporate network

I have a rather unique situation, I think. I use Vienna for both internal company feeds and external public feeds.
In my situation:
Internet access goes through a proxy.
Certain web browsers are whitelisted for use to access the internet through that proxy. (Chrome, FF, Safari).
With Beta 18 and earlier, I can get RSS updates from external feeds in this network configuration. I can't use the Vienna internal browser to read any of the articles directly since it's not one of the whiltelisted browsers, but that's fine.
But with Beta 19, None of the external RSS feeds will update either.
Not sure how to find out what the error is. I just get the exclamation point next to the feeds.
Tim.
EDIT: Some info:
OSX 10.8.4
Proxy whitelist info:
Latest versions permitted:
Firefox 17.0.9 ESR
Firefox 24.0 ESR
Chrome 29
Safari 5.1.10, 6.0.5
Restricted to a subset of sites for approved business:
Internet Explorer 7,8,9,10
Java 1.7.0_40 (browser plugin)
Blocked:
All versions of Internet Explorer
Java 1.6 (browser plugin)
Older versions of Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
