Hi all,
I know, that someposted before but:
Before a few days my Vienna crashed and now when I opened all subscribtions are empty, no articles no subscriptions.
I tried delete everything from user/my user/library/application support/Vienna and tried put back the message.db or tried open it simply but no result.
I tried open the message.db from another user but still no luck reindex database isn't working.
I am having about one year old db but how can I try? The db is having about 310 mB and if somebody should help me I can send him the file.
I am blind and I tried work with the terminal and repair the sql but no luck.
Thank you for a help.

Generally, it is a bit difficult, but I will try to recover it.
You can send me a link to download the file at barijaona at gmail dot com.

I will try in the evening.
But I tried delete all viena from application support, tried replace only the db.
When I tried repair the db as it is shown in this topic first part I received the same error.

When I replaced message.db with the oldest one, I am seeing the feends which I am receiving as bbcworld etc. bu when I tried go to the articles it is empty, despite it is showing, that I am having 500 unread articles. Reindex in this case didn't helped.

In the past i have this problem. I found this solution to repair messages.db
1) backup the file messages.db
2) from home folder

Code: Select all

cd Library/Application\ Support/Vienna
echo '.dump' | sqlite3 messages.db | grep rss_folders | grep INSERT | awk -F, '{print $2}'
echo '.dump' | sqlite3 messages.db | sqlite3 new_messages.db

3) delete messages.db and rename new_messages.db to messages.db

@Micki2000 : I tried @nulls suggestion on your database and it seems to work great.

Thanks to @nulls !
