Bug Report: Crash on certain feed

Vienna 3.5.8 MacOS 10.15.7

Tried to subscribe to https://flutterevents.com/feed - crashes Vienna after 2 secs (after some spinning wheel = much load). Every re-start again crashed Vienna, because it tries to fetch articles from that feed. Was a bit challenging to remove the feed in time

Lucknews and RSS bot report above feed to be invalid.

That feed is JSON, not xml. RSS and ATOM are both XML based.

Though there exists a jsonfeed spec https://www.jsonfeed.org/ this feed does not adhere to and seems to be it's own cooked up format.

According to the page source the feed url should be: https://flutterevents.com/app/feed

You posted https://flutterevents.com/feed


I successfully subscribed to https://flutterevents.com/ and vienna presented me with the 2059 items in that feed.

Thanks for the hints, unfortunately those other feeds are too cluttered, no real event feed.

The issue stands - no malformed feed should be able to crash your nice project

Improved in 3.5.10 and 3.6.0
