Vienna 3.6.1 bug report

Post by throw.away.name »

Late 2009 Macbook, OSX 10.13.xx (High Sierra), 8GB mem.
Updated to 3.6.1, no window. No way to force a window. Went back to 3.6.0, everything came back.
Will wait for 3.6.2 or later update before updating again.

Were you in vertical layout ? If so, might have to do with the columns configuration when you switch from one version to another.

We can investigate further if you are able to provide details on selected feed at the time. A copy of the preferences file would be very helpful.
I contribute to Vienna RSS as a developer.
Please, don't forget those tips for writing a good bug report

Not sure what you mean by "Vertical Layout"...left the layout in default install.
Feeds on the left, articles on the right.
Javascript disabled.
Auto-arrange feeds turned off.
One default icon on top bar removed (skip folder?).
Haven't tried adding any add-ons.
Basically, default.

Smart folders no longer work. I had to reinstall (last version 3.6.2) and re-import the opml subscriptions because Vienna was constantly crashing with the latest updates (I have imac 10.11.6). The old smart folders work, while the ones I create new don't seem to work at all, in the sense that the filters I set seem to have no effect. What can I do?
