After 2 years of Linux I'm back to macOS, Macbook Air M1 & Big Sur 11.3 Beta. I was satisfied to find Vienna again!
Maybe it's just something virtual and of little importance, but the number shown in Activity Monitor for memory usage after a couple of days is impressive: 36.96 GB !!
Of course, closing and restarting the app solves the issue, if it is an issue. Activity Monitor shows no "memory pressure" so I'm not overly concerned.

Re: Vienna 3.7.1 and memory usage
I always empty the Trash after every session. My Memory shows a comfortable 100,3 MB.
Re: Vienna 3.7.1 and memory usage
My observations : it seems that main causes of the increase of memory consumption are related to :
- fetching newer articles
- opening articles and links in tab
- most notably, marking articles read
Activity Monitor will not immediately reflect that Vienna is able to release the memory it uses.
But if you launch the memory_pressure command line utility (as far as I know, it comes with Xcode), you will see that Vienna is in fact able to release a big proportion of the memory it uses and get back to a situation similar to what is seen after launch.

I contribute to Vienna RSS as a developer.
