Toast 9 + 8 Divx

After installing the Perian 1.1.2 update I can't burn a Divx Disc using Toast 9 or 8. When I drop the .avi file on Toast 9.0.4 Toast just hangs with the spinning beachball forever (Quicktime to). I uninstalled Perian 1.1.2 and reinstalled Perian 1.0 and everything is fine again. Is there a problem with the newer plugin ? Has anyone else had this problem or found a fix to this.
