Hello everybody,

I googled my issue for some time, I looked it up in this forum but I didn't find the topic I was lloking for, so here it is ( and sorry if I missed it somewhere).

Previously, I had 10.4 with Perian 1 and all my avi files worked just fine with srt files in FR. srt & avi files had the same name and were located in the same file; when I browsed in FR however, I just saw the movie files (the srt files were "invisible") which suited me just fine since I didn't have any particular interest in seeing the srt files as long as they worked.

However, I recently upgraded to 10.5, downloaded all the necessary software updates as well as Perian 1.1.3... My problem now, is that subtitles don't work anymore in FR, and what is weirder, is that I see srt files in FR... I just have no subtitles, the movie plays as if there were no srt files around...

All works fine with VLC or MPlayer but I really want to use FR which is much more convenient. Some details:
I have showed closed captioning & subtitles when available in QT preferences
Loas external subtitles checked in Perian pref pane

anything I'm missing? any solutions...
