Use Perian as the best codek ?

Postby ellias2007 » Fri May 28, 2010 11:21 am

Hi every body,
in order to compress my movies and upload them in the BEST possible format (a clear look with a light size as possible), i found on the net many video files with a good look and size... almost all have the following setting (From Quick time info Panel):
FORMAT : H.264 (Perian), 640 x 480, Millions / AAC, Stereo, 44.100 kHz

My Question is : How to export the (Perian) format ??
Usually, i export the H264 format from My QuickTime Pro 7.6.3, but i don't find where i can use (Perian)...
Please Help me to export my movies using the Perian format, so i can get like what i find on the net as good look with small sizes...

As stated, numerous times and easily found with a simple search, Perian doesn't do any export.

Also, Perian is not a codec.
