Hey,
So I have a Macbook with Mac OS X 10.6.8 and I tried to install Perian today. The message it gave me when I clicked "Install" was "Error: extraction of AC3MovieImport.component Failed" and it says that "Perian is Not Installed". I've tried re-downloading it, but I get the same issue.
