Here is the word from the Black Swan forums:

The app does have to run as a standalone app (no browser elements such as the address bar and buttons), so it must be launched from the icon on your home screen. (http://www.riverturn.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12)

So, what info do you need to be able to launch the application? Just the name? It installs as "VoiceCentral"... Or does the developer have to do something?

Then it's not possible, sorry. Prowl can only launch URLs and the homescreen bookmarks do not have a unique URL which can launch them.

Is it possible to add Google Calendar to the list? I use it to set up appointments and reminders, and a push notification that redirects me to Google Calendar web app would be great.
Thanks.

We've updated VoiceCentral so it can be called directly using the URL (in version 1.1.0).
You [will be able, once released, to] add "?browser=true" to allow launch
Additionally, you can start in a specific tab,
by adding "&tab=<tabname>" where <tabname> is SMS, Voicemail, Recents, Contacts, or Keypad

How do I contact (or get someone from prowl to contact us) to make these changes?

Thanks, Stuart (Riverturn)

Can you confirm the full URLs? I can update the redirect list fairly easily.

From http://www.riverturn.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12:

Coming in version 1.1.0, you will be able to launch VoiceCentral from the url (on an iPhone or iTouch)

By hitting http://voicecentralwe.appspot.com/voicecentral.html

and including ?browser=true

This is for use from with other 3rd party apps

To have it start in a particular tab, add a "&tab=<tabbanme>" where <tabname> is SMS, Voicemail, Recents, Contacts or Keypad.

Example "http://voicecentralwe.appspot.com/voicecentral.html?browser=true&tab=SMS"

Could you also please add "twit:///directs" to launch Twittelator directly into the DMs timeline?

Any chance of adding the Wordpress App to the launch list - No luck finding the launch URL so far :(

cheers

Updated. Wordpress's Info.plist doesn't register it for any URL schemes.

Would it be possible to add a redirect to "http://www.firedispatch.com" please?

Any idea when the next version that supports customizable redirects will be released?

Can you please add a Redirector to "Icebird"? http://icebirdapp.com/#
Boxcar supports it, so there must be an URL Scheme. But i cannot find any info regarding it.

Thank you.

Hello!

Thankyou for really good software!
It would be nice to be able to launch the native twitter-app (twitter.com) which was the tweetie-app before. It would also be nice to be able to launch the native wordpress-app (wordpress.com).

I have email coming for notifications for both these services and I would like those email to trigger start of the apps. Of course it is nice to come directly to the right place inside the app but it is enough to just start them.

Sincerely,
Lage Rahm

Hi,

Can you add support for "Brooklyn For Nagios", see http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/brooklyn ... 40435?mt=8 for app details.

Thanks,

Sunin

Hi,
is there a way to tell the Mail app to open the inbox instead of the composing view?
Big thx for this nice service!

I'm the developer for the app G-Whizz! and am now getting requests for Prowl support. We'd like to add G-Whizz! to your list of Launchable Applications. We have the following URLs registered:

G-Whizz! (Gmail)
gwhizz://mail

G-Whizz! (Reader)
gwhizz://reader

G-Whizz! (Voice)
gwhizz://voice

We appreciate this service and the enhancements it provides to our app!

Please consider adding Acrobits Softphone (acrobits.cz) and Bria iPhone Edition (counterpath.com) to Launchable Application List.
Thanks.

The Voicecentral option seems to take me to the site, is this the proper action?
If possible, would you be able to make an option to open the webapp, with the browser boolean that they have provided?

Thanks a lot,

Also, the G-Whizz ones do not seem to be working for me on an iPhone 4, firmware 4.0.
