Problem using quiet hours feature on version 1.1.5

Post by kerryrsmith »

I’m trying to use the new quiet hours feature on version 1.1.5, but I still receive the sound and alert notifications during the “Quiet Times” (allow emergencies is set to off). Has anyone got this working?

What are your quiet hours set to? What time is it (local to the phone) when the notifications come through unstopped?

For the purposes of my tests, I've set the quiet times to 01:00-18:00. The current time is 13:49 (Time Zone set as London in Date & Time, 24 hour time set to on, Region format set to UK).

If you're using Prowl under the same username as you have set on these forums, the server doesn't think you have quiet hours enabled. Can you try disabling then re-enabling them?

Hm, the server *still* isn't seeing it. I've added some logging to see what might be happening when the settings update happens; can you try again?

Okay, fixed! Give it a shot now.

Geeky resolution: the timezone code was sending " " instead of "+", which was causing the server to reject it. Whoops.

I fixed up some issues with settings not saving properly (when quiet hours are enabled). Very weird issue happening to a small amount of people. NSDateFormatter stops listening to the format it's provided…

had an issue this morning where the quiet hours didn't cut back over. Ended up turning off the quiet hours so I would get notifications again.

Overnight last night, Prowl did not honor my quiet hours. I have them set to 11pm to 8am. I am located in US Central time zone. Received 4 pushed notices during this time. I did disable/enable quiet hours and that did not resolve the issue. My username is "cbarnes". Please advise.

Yes, as far as I know. I've never received a push notice during my quiet hours until last night. I'm available for testing anytime if needed.
