Separate notifications for unique devices

If I understand things currently, the only way for a single user to have some notifications sent to their iPhone, others to their iPad, and perhaps others to both, would be to register two prowl accounts and then set up the notifying sources accordingly. Since having more than one iOS device is probably becoming more and more common, are there any plans to allow users to manage more than one API key from a single user account? This would make me very happy...

Whoops, not sure how I missed this post.

Multiple API keys may be coming, but I'm also looking into OAuth for services. Either of these changes, though, will be done on the server so application support won't be needed.

Per-device.. not sure. Seems like it would be troublesome.

Can I also express my interest in this, I have quite a few devices (6 ios devices) yes it's a lot, I have a mix of ipod touches, iphones and an Ipad.. shared in the family and we all integrate.. but it would be a great benifit to be able to have different API Key assigned to each device, so im able to send a whole variety of notifications to multiple devices... it may be that I wish for my partner to be notified for some things.. me on others.. another family member on other bits etc...
Sure you could have an account for each one.. but it would be much simpler to manage and handle within one account..

This would make it very powerful - and great for my API projects for useage.

Please consider multiple devices on one account peeps, maximum of 10 would be great for my purpose.

Keep up the great work and development

I'd love to see per device api keys, too!

This is exactly why I came to look at the forum. With a new iPad, it's quite annoying that I now read all my messages twice, but also that there is no synchronisation of read messages between devices ...

Oh, and does the iPad app not rotate at all?!

Better message synchronization is being actively worked on. The iPad app should rotate without issue: is it possible you have rotation lock on?

Hmm, rotates fine now at home. Possibly because I was sneaking at work!

Look forward to syncing!
