Have Prowl Make Sounds While In Silent Mode

Is it possible to have Prowl make sounds (rather than just vibrate) while the phone is in silent mode? I'm looking at Prowl for a network monitoring application and want Prowl to make noise even if I leave my phone in silent mode....

I'm planning to use prowl for network monitoring too. It is a must-have requirement that emergency alerts are making a sound even when the phone is in silent mode or prowl is in DnD mode

Please implement this workaround as described at stackoverflow!

The "workaround" there can play audio while Prowl is active, but it isn't going to allow the push notifications to play audio through the silent switcher. Prowl isn't actually the application playing the sound, the system is.
