1password->Growl->Prowl, and then it goes wrong...

As the subject says, this issue involves 1Password, Growl, and Prowl. I don't really know where it's going wrong, that's part of the problem.

Here's the situation: Growl has Prowl as the default notification style, using the Smoke style on MacOS, and sending the notification to Prowl when the Mac is idle for over 2 minutes. 1Password notifies Growl whenever it starts and finishes a backup successfully, which frankly I don't care too much about. So I went into 1Password's application settings in Growl, and unchecked the "enabled" and "logging" checkboxes for the "Data File Backup Started" and "Data File Backup Successful" events. This works fine as long as I'm active on my Mac, but when the Mac is idle, the two events still get sent to Prowl and hence to my iOS device.

This is annoying.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Try changing 1Password's style from Default to something else. The per-notification prefs on the Growl side of things may be off.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

Herp derp, I found the problem. Our other computer, which I rarely use, still had the notifications turned on. So whenever the kids wake that thing up, 1Password would create a backup and trigger the notifications.

Ahh, glad to hear it wasn't a bug on the Prowl or Growl side of things.
