iPhone 3GS: No push messages, no sound

Hi,

I just started with Prowl.
I installed the prowl client on my iPhone 3GS and tested receiving of messages.
Messages arrive if I manually update but there are no messages coming automatically as I let the phone unattended and send push messages.
When I manually update again, the sent messages will show but no sound will play.

Thanks for ideas.

What version of iOS are you running, and what did you use to jailbreak it? Are you unlocked as well? Did you use any kind of "push fix" plugin/addon?

A lot of questions in one sentence.

iOS: 6.1.2
JB: sn0wbreeze
Unlock: Yes
push fix: No, as far as I know. What is 'push fix'?

Thanks for answering

No one can help?

I sent my question to the support email address but not a single reaction on this so far.
I am confused. I paid for the app and there is no support if its not working like it should .

I'm the only one on the support list, so if I see multiple messages from the same person I'll generally respond in one spot.

Sorry but jailbreaking and unlocking breaks push notifications in my experience. I'm not really sure what will fix it; you could perhaps check some jailbreak information websites?

I switched on iMessages and did something I found at youtube concerning problems with push messages on hacktiveted iphone 4s.

Now, it works fine even over WiFi.

But, I have a iphone 3GS that is not hacktiveted with software but activated using a webservice ...
