Waaa! Spongebob won't show up in preferences

I loaded the Spongebob notification style plugin, it said it was activated, it's sitting right there in both library folders [inside Application Support file, Growl file, plugins file] yet it isn't listed in System Preferences' Growl panel as a General option, or a Display option.

I've tried switching Growl on and off, even logging out.

Could it be that the plugin is obsolete with 10.4.8? There's no indication of who designed it.

Any suggestions?

Could you please check and post the console output (using the application Console in Applications/Utiltiies) to see if there is any relevant output that would help us figure out what is going on? (you can filter the text using the search field in the toolbar)
