sticky notification outside LAN

Hi
I am behind a PC firewall running macs on a LAN, I can get all notifications from all my macs thta are using Growl with no issues.
I also have macs outside the LAN in another part of the world which I would like to get notifications from (not mail), stickies on my desktop.
Is their a way to set this up?, if so how.
