Removing Unselected Notifications from Log

Any way you guys could make an option to have notifications that I have unchecked (not displayed) not appear in the log? I have the log on my desktop via GeekTool, and it's kind of annoying how all the "Applications Re-registered" notifications show up there when they're not telling me anything useful.
