Display Option/Position

This has bugged me since my first install of Growl. Why can I not choose the
exact location of my display notification? It seems that each display dev sets
his own static location options (if any), and thats it.

Is it too hard to have an interface where the user can drag/position the display
location? Many users have apps that interfere with the standard upper right
locations, or the lower center options. How about a simple exact center option
if a drag and drop gui is too difficult?

I mean if the whole point is to interrupt what is already going on, why not make
it where the user will see it?

Please?

TIA >:o O:)

Growl 1.1 includes positioning support for the corners, available globally and per application, although displays can override this still. Dragging notifications into a random position isn't possible because you have to specify an origin from which multiple notifications can cascade in both the vertical and horizontal planes that is sane (which the corners provide.)
