I use Growl with some of the contacts on my Adium contact list...for one of my contacts when she either becomes available or returns from away, a Growl bubble is supposed to pop up....and it does. Which is good.

However, this bubble ALSO pops up when said contact is still away...and kinda often too. Is there something I can do about this? or is it a problem on her end?

Hopefully someone can direct me in the right place for this question -- if this is an Adium question, or if it isn't anything I can fix, just let me know.

go into Adium preferences. in "Events" you can specify whether Growl notifications happen or not.
