Growl 1.1b1 – crash in CFStringAppendFormat()

I’ve had this crash twice since installing 1.1b1 – once immediately after restarting GrowlHelperApp after the installation, once while I was away. No Growl notification appeared either time, nor had I done anything to expect one.

Based on the addresses showing a crash, it looks like the crash is in the version checking code.

I believe this is fixed in the next beta (b2) which should be available sometime in the next few days.

I think Rudy said he wants to get it out today. I'm out of commission tomorrow and Sunday, so can't build it those two days. If it's not out by Monday I'll put it out then.
