Apple Mail, cannot see Growl Preferences

Hi,

I can't see the Growl Preferences in my Apple Mail Preferences and it doesn't work (Apple Mail v 2.1, Mac OS 10.4.9) although I installed GrowlMail. Is it because I have a German localized version of Apple Mail?

Other applications such as Vienna etc. work fine with Growl.

Just wanted to state that I have the exact same problem. I have set GrowlMail to only notify messages in my inbox but I get alerted to everything in the Exchange public folders as well. It's enough to bring my very new and powerful macbook pro to a crawl while it renders the alerts.

edit: forgot to mention, I have English version of everything so I don't think it's due to your localised German version(s).
