I am always missing my Firefox Steepandcheap extension for alerts on new items. The RSS feed seems to be defective and lags the site, so I have not been able to get any of the RSS reader notifications to work. Is there anything that can monitor a site for changes and notify me?

Have you reported their rss feed problem to them?

*cough* OmniWeb handles this just fine.
