Hardware Growler 1.1.1 Dock Icon

Com'on Devs. Make it so the Dock icon can be hidden. Please? If I were a dev, I would do it, but I am not.

The .plist hack doesn't work with the new version and I don't want to install a 3rd party app to do it either.

The plist "hack" should work fine, since that's how os x is setup.

There's no reason we can't wrap an interface around the hack to make this activity simpler.

I would be most grateful if HG was updated to include this.

Do you think it is difficult to implement?

BTW, I figured out why I couldn't get the plist hack working. I forgot the Terminal "Touch " step. Now it works.

Ya, I agree, it's quite silly that we don't have it.

hardware growler is definitely better than metagrowler.

Just use the program Dockless to painlessly hide HG from the dock.

the only thing HG could borrow from metagrowler is bonjour services. Otherwise HG does more than metagrowler.

GrowlTunes Plugin (GTP), the successor to GrowlTunes, will be invisible since it's a plugin for iTunes and only appears in there.
