I've noticed a few oddities with hardware growl on Leopard. This is with 1.1.1 on a 1.5GHz Powerbook G4.
First problem is anything that is network related shows a generic icon. IP change, ethernet cable plug/unplug gives a generic icon instead of the nice network icon I used to get in Tiger. I get this message in the console:
30/10/07 12:03:28 HardwareGrowler[5640] Path (null) given to -[NSWorkspace iconForFile:] is not a full path.
Secondly, Hardware Growl seems to crash whenever I deactivate airport. This is systematic. This is the message I get:
30/10/07 12:00:29 com.apple.launchd[79] ([0x0-0x1f61f6].com.growl.hardwaregrowler[5592]) Exited abnormally: Bus error
I've tried the 1.1.2 beta2, and the generic icon issue remains (its replaced by the hardwaregrowl icon instead of the generic file icon I get in 1.1.1, the crash upon Airport deactivation seems fixed though.
Keep up the good work, and I hope this is fixed soon. I realize the icon issue is cosmetic, but so is a big part of the appeal of Growl
