Growl/Skype forgets settings after update

Seems like if I update Skype I lose my preferences for notifications.

I know I have set this a few times but seems like every so often they are wiped and need to be reset.

Is this an issue with Skype or Growl?

It's technically a bug in Growl. When an application re-registers it's set of notifications it causes Growl to lose the user's settings. We are aware of it but I don't have a specific answer as to when it will be fixed.
