Configure Pane Question

On the Configure pane under the Application Setting tab, there is a check box: "Inform NameOfAppHighlighted when a notification is clicked"
I can't see that it does anything.

It's up to the application to support this, it's called a clickback. Adium (for example) uses this to focus a message window that is associated with a Growl notification if you click on it. The checkbox is there to allow the user to override this.

Ahh, but it's not exposed in the AppleScript dictionary then.

Correct, this is a known issue with the AppleScript binding.
