I've never been able to get 1.1.2 to work with Interarchy (OSX.4.11). SO I removed all traces of Growl. Then I downloaded and installed 0.7.6.
I then restarted computer and checked to see if Growl was functioning. Then I opened Interarchy and received a bubble style alert that, Interarchy was registered.
Not once did I receive this on 1.1.2.
This time instead of installing just for one user, I installed for all users.
If I were to install 1.1.2 over top of 0.7.6 without removing any old files, should 1.1.2 function now?
Had to back track to .07.6 from 1.1.2

I haven't. I guess I could try.
Actually I find the notification quite helpful. I know when an application is ready to use with Growl. Besides the notification only stay on for just a second or two. and it never show up again once it indicates the application will work with growl now.
