Growl stopped working

Post by Gruninst »

Hi,

Growl has basically just stopped working for no particular reason. I'm using OS X Tiger 10.4.11 and Growl 1.1.2.

Uninstalling Grown and reinstalling does not help. Hide all notifications is unchecked. Growl is started. Removing the application and re-configuring it to use Growl does not help. GrowlHelperApp is running. Applications like Skype are doing the annoying dock bouncing instead of displaying anything in Growl.

Anybody has any pointers to what I might try?

Thanks!

If i can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.

i searched forum, and found that somehow logitech control center is blocking growl. I have installed lcc today, and then growl stopped working.

I've uninstalled LCC, and growl works now perfectly :)

Hoooray :D

Thanks for the link, Godza, wouldn't have thought Logitech to be related to this. Here's a post about it for those who run into this issue in the future:

Removing /Library/InputManagers/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader does the trick.

Thanks! Uninstalling that damn scroll enhancer did the trick.
I just have a Logitech board and no mouse so it was unnecessary for me anyway :)
