growlnotify not showing up in applications tab

Post by syntatic »

Hi all,

For an unknown reason growlnotify is no longer in my Applications tab and a number of the applications that I use are no longer displaying growl notifications (Adium, autotest, MailPlan, Twitterific, etc).

If I run $ growlnotify -m "Hi." nothing displays, but $growlnotify -h still displays help.

I've uninstalled Growl and growlnotify and reinstalled both without any change in behavior.

Looking at another Growl installation I noticed a file named growlnotify.growlTicket exists in ~/Library/Application Support/Growl/Tickets

I don't have that file.

I'm using Growl 1.1.2 with OS X 10.4.11.

Does growlnotify have a log it writes to when there are errors?

Thanks.
