I have Growl 1.1.2 installed on my Mac Pro running 10.5. I enjoy using Growl for iTunes and especially for Adium notifications; however, neither seem to work. I've stopped, then removed anything Growl related on my machine several times, with no success.
Strangely enough, I have the Last.fm application installed and it's track change notifications work fine.
I would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to resolve these issues. Thank you.

Do you have installed Logitech Control Center 2.4? Then maybe this thread might help you:

I do not have LCC installed. I did at one time, but I've removed all instances of anything Logitech-related on the software side. I am still using a Logitech keyboard and mouse however.

Are you sure you removed all that APE-related stuff LCC comes with? It's spread all over the system.

I'm actually having the same issues. No Logitech applications present and Growl works only for certain applications.

That's strange indeed. But I would say it's not a problem on Growl's side. There must be programs acting counterproductive together with Growl. I'm using Growl 1.1.2 on 10.5.1, too and have no problems. I only had that problems with the latest Logitech Control Center which killed lots of notifications throug a SIMBL plugin. Maybe you should check if there are SIMBL plugins on your machine that could cause these problems. Try to disable all of them and enable one by one and check if Growl works after every enabled plugin. That's what I would do.
