I installed Growl 1.1.3 b2. Everything went ok and so far everything seems to work ok. One question:

When I go to "About" it still says 1.1.2....Is this normal?

Sorry to ask this here but where can I download the BETA? I'd like to BETA test 1.1.3 but can't find anything about it on the Growl webiste.
Also, when do you plan to release it approximately?

The beta site seems to be down. Does anyone know of a mirror site for the file?

There are no mirrors, it is not meant to be widely distributed.

Understood. That said, is there any timetable for the server to be back?

Edit: Nevermind, although extremely slow the site is loading for me now. Thanks very much!

There's unfortunately an issue with keeping the webserver up and running, unfortunately. It's being worked on.

I downloaded the 1.1.3 beta but I can't get GrowlMail to work. The installer works correctly, but no preference panel for growlmail appears in Mail (and I've quit Mail before running the installer). Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this a case of it being in beta, and I should wait for the real thing?

Well GrowlMail doesn't work for me either. I just installed BETA 1.1.3 and GrowlMail but I don't have the preference menu either and no notifications are showing up.
I read that 10.5.2 disables GrowlMail, is it only for old builds or for 1.1.3 too?
Thanks.

I am having the same issues. I installed teh beta, installed the mail plug in, there are no notifications. I have teh preference pane in mail, and it appears to be configurred correctly, but it still doesn't work. I have also checked Growl preferences. Is shows 113. It is enabled in teh growl preferences as well. Am I missing something or is it just not working yet? After all, it is a beta!!! :)

Thanks!!!

I have your same problems with the beta version, I am running 10.5.2 on MacBook Pro on 2.16 Intel Core Duo. I also noticed a couple of other things. If I try to change my Growl settings in Systems Prefs, System Pref crashes most of the times. If I quit and re-open Mail, when Mail opens it says that the Growl bundle has been disabled (same message I used to get with 1.1.2)

I take my previous post back. I just installed the Mail plug in and it seems to be working fine. Disregard previous post. Can't do more beta testing for a while today

this seems nice. however, i can confirm that 1.1.3 runs well with 10.5.2 on my mac book pro 2.16 intel core duo. i tested both growlmail and growltunes

there is only one bug, as far as i can tell. when you change your growl settings in system prefs, system prefs often crashes. however, when you re-open it, your latest change is still there

Hmmm, I have a Macbook running 10.5.2 and Growl 113. Doesn't work for me. I know of someone running 10.5.2 on a 17 inch powerbook and it works, but I can't get it to work and thus I am using the workaround. !@##@$@#$ Could the problem be specific to Macbooks
