I'm trying DESPERATELY to get GrowlMail working in Leopard and I'm having absolutely no luck at all. The 1.1.3b2 claims to have a working GrowlMail bundle for leopard, but it doesn't work.
I removed all the other bundles from my system, closed Mail and ran the GrowlMail.mpkg installer.
When I started Mail, no GrowMail icon appeared in my mail preferences and I am not receiving notifications.
I've been so desperately waiting for someone to fix either Mail.appetizer or GrowlMail for Leoplard. It is the one single thing I miss the most about 10.4.
Please help.

Is GrowlMail *EVER* going to work right again? probably not.
Hi there,The_Tick wrote:There's no need for the negativity.
Run these 2 commands, and paste the output:
defaults read com.apple.mail EnableBundles
defaults read com.apple.mail BundleCompatibilityVersion
i've got the same problem, so i ran the commands you suggested and got:
defaults read com.apple.mail EnableBundles
1
defaults read com.apple.mail BundleCompatibilityVersion
3
what should i do next?
Hi i also see no pref pane in mail, running 10.5.2.The_Tick wrote:There's no need for the negativity.
Run these 2 commands, and paste the output:
defaults read com.apple.mail EnableBundles
defaults read com.apple.mail BundleCompatibilityVersion
If i run the above commands i get a result of '0' for the first command and '3' for the second.
Is this any help?
You have to fix the setting in your com.apple.mail.plist - check out this thread: http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?t=16628almonde wrote:Hi i also see no pref pane in mail, running 10.5.2.
