GROWL MAIL 1.1.3 FOR LEOPARD

Hi, I just learned about Growl the other day...I am trying to figure out how to get it to work with Leopard. I've read the posts and downloaded the beta 1.1.3 but I'm still not having any luck. If anyone has the patience to walk me through it, I'd really appreciate it!
