GrowlTunes memory usage

Post by dbfriends »

Hi there,

Been using Growl for a coupla years now on an old iBook. Just got a new iMac and loving it even more... but I'm having one problem with GrowlTunes.

I noticed iTunes kept performing really sluggishly after I'd played through or skipped through a few songs. I fired up Activity Monitor and looked at memory usage, and found that GrowlTunes' usage seems to be growing every time I load a new track - as I type, I just skipped two songs and it rose form 57 to 63MB. It seems to keep going until it's using all my memory. Is this a problem anyone else has come across?

What version number does Growl show in the About tab of its preference pane in System Preferences?

Growl itself? 1.1.4. I'm using whichever GrowlTones version came with that in the DMG.
