Failing to Save My Skype notification preferences

Using Growl 1.1.4.
It repeatedly re-sets my preferences for Skype to the wrong notification (i.e. sets it to Receive rquest for contact details instead of new message received). When I have growl open, i have to stop/start it to get it to work, it'll throw up 1 or 2 notifications on my requested setting and then default back to contact details.
It's driving me nuts. Help?
