Hardwaregrowler as preference pane

Post by stigi »

Hello,

I wonder if there're any considerations on making hardware growler a preference pane.
In fact all the app does is lurking in background and trigger growl notifications. It's user interface is simply a menu with a preferences entry, which fires up the preference window. This could go to a system preferences (sorry, don't know the actual application title in english as i don't use a english os x version) together with a button to start/stop it.

This would remove the annoying doc icon which in fact no one ever clicks ;)
Also there would be one icon less in the cmd+tab overview (i use quite frequently).

I love growl! And I love hardwaregrowler!
And if you don't have plans for moving it to preferences I probably will challenge my cocoa skillz and do it myself :P

Regards
