Hello , I decided to try Growl yesterday, but unfortunately I have had nothing but problems ever since I installed it.

Specifically, I am not able to launch iCal, it constantly quits unexpectedly during launch and dashboard keeps restarting when I click the "+" sign in the bottom-left corner.

I have since manually uninstalled Growl following the instructions, manually removed the widgets from the folders" removed the dashboard pref panes, and restarted the system several times. The problems still exist.

If I create another user account, both Dashboard and iCal work fine.

Any ideas what can I do to fix this...
