Read Growl notifications using Applescript

Hello,

I'm trying to interface* Spotify and Audio Hijack Pro with Serato Scratch Live. Scripting AHP to rip Spotify songs and get Live to add them to a playlist is no problem. What I need is to add track and artist names to the files. Spotify can use Growl to display the currently playing song so my idea is to use the data in the notification to script AHP to rename the ripped song/file.

Is it possible to read Growl notifications with the help of Applescript?


*It's for a party I'm throwing where people choose the songs they want to hear on touch screen computers using Spotify and a shared playlist. The Songs are then ripped to a computer that's connected to Serata Scratch Live and two T1210's. They choose the tracks and we mix them.
