MailMe notificaation's not fully working.

MailMe notificaation's not fully working. I am testing on my laptop with MAC OS 10.6.1. I did back rev to Growl version 1.1.6 and when setting up my notification Yummy FTP I can get it to send the test email. but when the file transfer happens it does not send the notification. It does play the sound.
I have not had the no-password issue "Thank God" but need to get this to work. What am is missing?
