Individual application 'Display' option

Love this app. One issue:
In the Applications Tab of the Growl preferences I can't set the 'Display' to 'Log' since version 0.7. I could do this in previous versions but now it seems that I have to set all apps to 'Log only, don't display' when I only want 1 app to do this and the rest to display notifications as normal.
btw I'm using beta 0.7.1
This screenshot shows what I mean. The 'Log' option is missing. Does anyone now if it will be put back?
Thanks

Still no Log option

I just downloaded the latest beta and there is still no Log option for individual apps.
Is it gone for good????

It made more sense to log everything.

Can't we have both options?
I would like to have some apps write to the log and not display a notification whilst others display as normal.

Not with .7.2, but I want to have displays and non-display functionality separated out for .8 or .9

So a little insight into how development tends to work:

13:03 < CoolMoDee> interesting
13:05 < CoolMoDee> odd
13:05 < CoolMoDee> so basicly
13:05 < CoolMoDee> he wants "log" display
13:06 < CoolMoDee> if I am understanding that correctly
13:07 < The_Tick> CoolMoDee: he really wants to log only certain applications
13:07 < The_Tick> now that we have logging in its own tab

13:07 < The_Tick> we could have this
13:07 < The_Tick> [table] (buttons) [table]
13:07 < The_Tick> and list which apps to log on the left
13:07 < CoolMoDee> should be easy enough..
13:07 < The_Tick> and which to not log on the right
13:07 < CoolMoDee> yea
I think that would work better than putting it in the displays, thoughts?

If I understand this correctly then you are talking about changing the 'Enable logging' option under the 'General' tab so that I can select specific applications to log.
What about turning off the display options for those apps?
Specifically I want GrowTunes to write to the log but I don't want it to display a notification.
Also what if I wanted to GrowlTunes to write to the log when a track changes but display a notification when itunes starts playing (this is theoretical, I can't see a good reason at the moment for doing this)?
This would all be possible if 'Log' was included as a Display option. Maybe you could even include Log in the 'Display Options' tab so that the Log output is customizable??
Just a few thoughts......I appreciate your time

The problem is that for the majority of our users, the current functionality makes more sense. With .8 we've created a logging tab, taking it out of the general tab altogether.

Yes I do understand that.
Its jus that from my point of view I lost some functionality when I upgraded to .7.
Anyway I'll wait for .8
Keep up the good work.
