Synergy notifications sometimes draw over menubar

I'm using Synergy for my iTunes notifications, and with certain songs, it will display the notification box over the menubar, like so.
Here's how it happens. Synergy does not display a brand-new floater for each song change. Rather, it changes the one that's currently being displayed. If a song has no album associated with it, for example, the floater has only 2 lines of text. But when I switch to a song that does have an album, the floater gains an extra line and grows upward instead of downward, like it should.
