Unable to select Entourage Scripts

I'm trying to get the Entourage scripts to work, however when I copy them over to ~/Library/Scripts I'm not able to select either of them inside Entourage, they are greyed out. If I copy them over to the desktop though and select them from there everything works just fine.
What have I missed?
Using Tiger 10.4.2
Entourage 2004 11.1.0

Except I'm on 10.3.9
running Entourage X version 10.1.6

Open the script, copy the contents. open a new file, paste the old script, save (giving it the same name as before and writing over the old script. Then, they should work. I believe that this works by affecting which fork (data or resource) the compiled script is saved in, and Entourage only supports one.
If others can back me up, this should be done for the files in the distribution as well. (This is what I had to do to get the files to show up in the menu.)
